Elucidata is the privately owned business of M@ McCray. Located in the North Dallas area, it’s been in business – in one form or another – for over a decade. However, it’s only been M@’s full-time job for last the few years.

About the Elucidata Chieftain…

M@ McCray has been developing enterprise-level applications for over ten years. In that time it seems like he’s worked with all the various acronyms of the past decade as well: ASP, ASP.NET, VB, CPP, J2EE, EJB, IIS, UML, XML, HTML, CSS, JS, AJAX, XSLT, ORM, OMG—a great big techie alphabet soup! Or a geek version of that Inxs song…

Although a proficient programmer, M@ has a strong commitment to usability design. He firmly believes that usability and functionality have to work hand in hand, or an application won’t reach it’s full potential. Or worse, will fall flat.

After finding his favorite language/framework in Ruby on Rails in 2004, it wasn’t long before he was working with Rails full-time.

Oh, and M@ also feels weird writing in the third person. It makes him feel like Karl Malone (or Bob Dole).
